Whenever I come across a stray dog wandering around on the streets, I can’t help but feel a strong desire to provide them with a loving home. These poor creatures have no place to call their own, no one to look after them, and they often go without food for long periods of time.
It’s worth noting, however, that not all of these dogs were born into homelessness. Take Si Bao, for example, whose name translates to “four treasures” in Chinese and was given to her by her previous owner. Unfortunately, when her owner moved to a new city, Si Bao was left behind, alone and vulnerable.
Si Bao suffered a tragic incident shortly after being abandoned. She was hit by a speeding train and lost both her hind legs. Despite the unfortunate turn of events, Si Bao remains resilient and perseveres with only her two front legs to hop around. Incredibly, she has also given birth to four puppies and manages to care for them all by herself.
In every neighbourhood, there are always a few compassionate individuals who empathize with the plight of stray animals like Si Bao. Despite not having a home to call her own, Si Bao is always friendly and unafraid of human interaction. Fortunately, a benevolent cleaner has taken it upon himself to adopt Si Bao and her litter. Despite not living in the most luxurious conditions, the cleaner is determined to provide for his newfound furry family.
It’s truly heart-wrenching to witness this resilient stray dog, who appears to be strong despite limping on her two remaining legs. Despite being just a canine, she exemplifies the qualities of a caring mother who goes above and beyond to provide for her offspring. It’s undoubtedly commendable!
